Gainsborough Doorknob Spindle

This is a printable replacement spindle for a Gainsborough doorknob. I think it fits the bulk of the doorknobs by that manufacturer; they use a very short metal spindle that is tough to find in the US.Printed as provided, it leaves just enough room for a wrap of electrical tape around the wear surfaces. I feel like that will protect it from the metal doorknob surfaces for longer.It should print with any settings. I used 100% infilled PLA and that seemed to create an acceptable tough part for the purpose.I printed it laying flat with supports so that the layers would follow the long edge.
