Gaggia MDF stepless mod
thingiverse
I tried the Gaggia MDF stepless mod, but I wasn't satisfied with the tape solution - it didn't last long enough for me, so I decided to use three small pieces of Filaflex to block the heavy force and rotation during power on instead. The original mod can be found here: http://www.home-barista.com/grinders/gaggia-mdf-stepless-mod-with-pictures-t10163.html On 17/03/2017, I noticed that this mod seems to work well. However, it's better to push all three Filaflex pieces to the center of the grinder for optimal results. I'm not sure if this setup is okay without adding tape, but it appears to be working fine so far.
