Gaff tape is a brilliant tool, but its big rolls can be unwieldy and have a tendency to escape and "walk" off-site. Inspired by a comment on MetaFilter describing how you can wrap gaffer tape around a pen to ensure you always have some, I created these tiny spools that hold about a meter of tape. Designed for 2-inch wide tape, the OpenSCAD model is easily modified for almost any width, thickness, or amount of tape. This project is dedicated to the memory of Ross Lowell, the late inventor of gaffer tape.
