Lithopanes require backlighting, while lithographs appear as negatives without it. To create a Lithopane, use the Customizer's reverse color option. Check out the Gadsden flag Lithopane I made at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:84097, and use settings of 0.2 layer height, 12 layers, and 10mm hole diameter for optimal results.
