I grew up in a prosperous family with parents who gave me a great education and good manners. My mom is a sorceress, and my dad is the best Tanner in the country. They instilled in me a love for adventure and knowledge. As a young man, I spent most of my time reading about famous warriors and wizards, monsters, and creatures they fought. I was fascinated by their stories and wanted to see these creatures for myself. I didn't know which ones were harder to defeat – gnolls or harpies, Gorgons or Wyverns. I wondered who else I might meet on my adventures and how everyone around me didn't go crazy from not knowing about these creatures. They're so fascinating and terrifying at the same time! Not everyone is cut out for feats like mine, but I'm determined to make a name for myself. It's no coincidence that my parents have given me talents that will be useful in the future. Now it's time to talk about my dream. When I finished reading books on monsters, I began seeking knowledge from traders and travelers passing through our city. I drank in every rumor and story they told me, even from drunkards who had heard something. That's when I met Ferdinand Hardegen, a dream-chasing Explorer like myself. We became friends, and he shared his stories and notes with me. He sent me parcels with narratives about creatures and monsters, which I was eager to learn more about. One package included his diary and a real toad's skin, clothes, and spear! I realized I could make a Scarecrow of him, but then I got distracted from Ferdinand. There were no more packages or news from him, and I was left wondering what happened. Months went by, and one day, a letter arrived from Alfred saying that Ferdinand had gone missing. I packed my bags and said goodbye to my parents to join the search for this remarkable man. That's where I met his daughter, Catriona Hardegan.
