This case enhances the protection for your Xminilab. It is designed specifically for .115 cast acrylic, with a measurement of .12. The cutter detects red as a cutting signal and blue as etching. The latest firmware obviates the need for PDI. Version 1.0 fits snugly while version 1.1 provides improved fit by expanding the interior dimensions by .01 in all directions to accommodate the scope. Minor layout adjustments were made, and the case was clearanced for micro USB plug. Additional pin information text was added, along with a score mark for a bent pin design. Version 1.2 (yet untested) features more space for the bent pin design, centralized USB plug area, keys on upper edge, better bolt hole alignment, and a flimsy cover around the USB plug. Photos depict version 1.0 and a test fit of version 1.1. Acetone was used to join the acrylic parts together, while servo plugs connected the channels to hook clip probes. The maker is satisfied with version 1.1 but anticipates further improvements in version 1.2.
