This mount gives you a flat surface to mount a Govee light in the top center of a gable roof peak. I designed it to perfectly fit a roof with a pitch around 5.3/12 with the arctan(5.3/12) = 23.83 degrees. It should work fine for roofs with a similar pitch, or you can use FreeCAD to edit the design and match your own roof perfectly.Plan ahead to hit the center and make sure the lights on either side are spaced evenly for a professional look. If hitting the center is too difficult and it's much easier to just have a light evenly spaced on either side of the peak then do that instead.You can use screws up to imperial #8 (4.2 mm) to fasten the mount to your soffit.Stick the light to the mount and install a screw clip on both sides of the light for a permanent installation.
