Summary It's Movember 2016 and Global Print Initiative is hosting a contest for the best beard. I decided to include printed beards in the contest. Please take a second and vote for your favorite. Each vote is $1 and it goes directly to Global Print Initiative, a 501(c)3 charity that brings 3D printers to hard-to-reach places and teaches them the skills to run a print shop to support local good will initiatives. The winner gets to choose what charity or school will receive a 3D printer. Print Settings Printer: GPrint Box Rafts: Any setting works Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: The model prints perfectly with a 0.3 first layer and 0.2 for the rest of the layers. If you want it to fit, do some measurements. You can either super glue the left and right side or print the full beard if your bed is large enough. Post-Printing Thermal Forming After printing the beard and gluing it together, use a heat gun or hairdryer to mold the beard to your face. Be careful, as any temperature hot enough to manipulate plastic can burn your skin!
