G920 G29 Paddle Extenders (Deep Dish Wheel)
thingiverse
I stumbled upon an awesome remix of some fantastic paddle extenders courtesy of @Pieraz, and I just had to give them a try since I recently upgraded my Logitech G920 wheel with a 350 mm deep dish wheel. The extenders turned out to be an excellent alternative to shelling out $40 online for custom aluminum paddles. To make the most of this design, I tweaked the original file by shifting the paddles 1/2" further outward on each side and 2.5" closer to the wheel. There are two versions available: V1, which is what I printed initially, but after completing mine, I realized that the two mounting tabs could potentially slide off the aluminum paddles if not secured properly. To rectify this issue, I employed two rubber bands (check out the accompanying pics). In an attempt to prevent this problem with my V2 paddles, I didn't end up printing them. The print quality of the paddles left a lot to be desired due to the usage of old ABS filament, which led to a 14-hour print time. To strengthen the design, I applied superglue to all the cracks and hoped for the best. I'm confident that this model will come in handy for anyone with a deep dish wheel on their Logitech setup.
