G5 Gun Howitzer (South Africa)

This is a first attempt at a model of the South African G5 towed gun/howitzer. It is based on a Sketchup library file by Xavi-arg, again using the SketchUp / 3D builder / Cura development route. Had to modify the files, as usual, and to split them up to be able to print them sensibly at 1:76 scale. The gun is split longitudinally to obtain a reasonable finish, otherwise one side appears very rough and difficult to clean (see photos of attempts). Used 0.05mm layers for the gun to try to get a better finish; some improvement. Note that a couple of pieces above the barrel might fall off on cleaning and will need to be glued back on... The base is not very detailed, and I might try to add a bit in the near future. Travel clamps are not yet modelled, as they were not in the original model. Hope to assemble later this week. Comments or advice welcome, as I am learning slowly, but having fun!
