Begin by building the gear bracket, ensuring it fits snugly around your lathe's bushing and shafts. Next, install the gear bracket on the lower shaft, then rotate down to its lowest setting (left). Using 1/16" holes, locate the mounting holes through the sheet metal for a secure fit.
