This modification empowers the inner core to elevate itself. Normally, two screws are bearing the entire weight of G4 Cube's inner core. With this modification, however, the heavy Cube now supports its own polycarbonate frame, thereby preventing further hairline cracking. You have the option to insert double-sided tape between the parts and the polycarbonate frame. As a standard practice, it should fit snugly and securely.
