Sharing a design of an Airflow Adaptor Set for modified scuba mask as a personal respirator device for our beloved health care workers is exactly what we're doing with the G3D Oxygen - Personal Airflow Respirator Adaptor(GO-PARA). This cleverly-named GO-PARA means GO away coronavirus and PARA(stop in the Filipino language) the spread of COVID19. Our modified mask will protect the full face of the wearer, eliminating waste by using just one device instead of N95 masks, goggles, and face shields that are always disposed of after duty. This reusable mask can be disinfected easily, making it a game-changer for healthcare workers everywhere. We designed this to support all the hardworking front liners around the world who deserve our protection and gratitude. Our initial goal is to distribute 1,000pcs of modified Scuba Masks to different hospitals in the Philippines as their respirator device, followed by another 2,000pcs when the masks arrive. A total of 3,000pcs 3d printed adaptors will be donated by Global 3D Systems(G3D), a US-owned 3d printer manufacturer with manufacturing plant in the Philippines, working closely with Tyrone Su and Dr. Louisa Go(a Pediatric Cardiologist) from National Children's Hospital in the Philippines. We're not stopping there - we're developing an add-on part for this respirator to make it portable and power-assisted devices for medical workers' comfortability and mobility. By sharing this design, we hope to help other communities around the world who have a shortage of personal respirators to make their own, protecting their face all the time while on duty.
