g36 magazine speed plate
thingiverse
UPDATE: re-uploaded the file per phillthomas's request. The g36 speed plate is designed to offer faster draw and improved manipulation of a g36 magazine, drawing inspiration from magpul's new ranger plate. The plate accommodates both standard 50-round and 400-round magazines, featuring a cutout for the tensioning wheel and space allowing users to comfortably position their finger on the wheel, unlike some m4 magazine plates. Installation is straightforward, requiring only one screw to be removed, followed by the old plate's removal, and then the new plate's insertion. Finally, the screw is reattached, completing the process. Print Settings: Printer: Flash Forge Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 80% Notes: The primary objective was to achieve durability, so I printed the g36 speed plate with 0.25 mm 80% abs settings. However, I inadvertently over-engineered the structure, resulting in a potentially more robust outcome than expected, even at 50% infill.
