G2S Z-probe straight actuator
thingiverse
Upgrading my Geeetech Delta G2S Pro printer with new nozzles increased their height significantly compared to the originals. Unfortunately, this extra height prevents the Z-probe from making contact with the bed. I've since designed a custom Z-probe that takes into account this added space. This new probe is crafted from a sturdy 3x93mm stainless steel shaft commonly found on Amazon under an RC car axle product listing. Attached to one end of this rod, I fitted a small actuator responsible for triggering the micro switch whenever needed. For secure positioning and effortless adjustments, a specially designed collar serves as its support at the actuator's upper end, very similar in function to the component that holds the spring at the lower part of the Z-probe assembly.
