A nice thought, but still needs some refinement - use at your own discretion - small washers are highly suggested to keep the guard just a hair's breadth away from the fan itself. A custom-fit version of the 40mm fan guard, carefully trimmed and stretched to fit snugly into the 40mm extruder fan mount, was adapted to work seamlessly with the GS2 Universal Effector. Just because it looks sleek and modern. Maybe I'll carve out a hollow space at the tip and make room for an LED or something (unless you'd like to tackle that project?).
