Human inspection reveals that lingual and facial contours are duplicated with some slight undercontouring on the lingual cusp. The facial surface and lingual surfaces appear to be in good condition otherwise. The duplication of proximal contacts and embrasure spaces is noted, but not a point contact, and not too bulky either. Embrasures match those of adjacent tooth number 9. Overall, the tooth anatomy bears resemblance to that of a proper #8 tooth.
