G-scale steam train (without the wheel)
thingiverse
I took MNinventers excellent Train design that was published on December 26, 2011, and broke it down into manageable sections for printing flat on the bed. The boiler was printed without any support material. The main body with roof required support during printing. The second part of the train was also printed with support, minus the roof. The roof itself was separately printed with support, lying flat on the bed. This Train measures 320mm in length, 126mm in width, and 137mm in height. It was printed using a standard Creality CR-10S with PLA filament. After printing, I constructed the train on a rolling chassis that I found online at E-bay.
