G scale points motor with servo

thingiverse

This servo-driven points motor for G Scale railways is based on the original design of the LGB construction (LGB 12060 Manual turnout mechanism). It utilizes a standard SG90 Servo, eliminating the need for an inside potmeter and electronics due to the rack's excessive length exceeding 180 degrees. A spring connects the handle and handle2, replicating the original configuration that can also be created by hand using a pen spring. This motor is larger than the LGB manual points switch but retains the same screw locations to attach to the points.
