G-scale F7, motorised
thingiverse
This is one of several "things" that I have been working on for a Super Chief style train in G-scale. (not 100% accurate, but close enough) I will run off battery with radio control. If you want pickup from the track, you will have to figure that out yourself, sorry. It could probably be down-scaled (everything) to run on 32mm track (don't know about the bearings?), but for HO I suspect that you would need to look at a different mechanism. Inspiration from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4796985 I used the front end for the profile, did a bit of resizing and remixing to it, also used the chassis, with modifications and fixes. All other files have been re-drawn completely, Then I did a mech design based on the mech from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3097453 I will upload the different parts in a series of "things" listed below Body: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5331629 Chassis: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5331632 Roof: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5331634 Drive mechanism: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5331636 F7-B Unit: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5331641 Coupling: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5336873 Coaches to go with them.. can be found starting at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5333532 Trial Coupler can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5336873 Also coming soon.. all with working mechanisms...
