G scale arch

A simple yet elegant G scale stone-type arch was my goal. The problem lay in its size; it couldn't be printed as one piece without overwhelming my capabilities. Therefore, I had to divide it into four manageable sections. To keep the structure intact during printing, a raft at the legs prevents the object from lifting as it cools down. In hindsight, I think this approach might benefit from even more rafts, especially since some parts experienced minor lift during the process - you can observe a clear indication of this in the top right arch's back. For added precision, the mortar cuts on both sides are tilted to optimize their performance when printing the arch with it turned upside down, exactly as indicated by the STL files. Printing took an unconscionably long time. As for my efforts to replicate uniform bricks, they didn't quite succeed. However, once treated with appropriate sandstone-colored paints, this structure takes on a convincingly authentic look. Feel free to adjust and personalize this design to suit your preferences!
