ADDED SolidWorks files (12/19/16) ADDED Cura Profile This is the set of files for the Printrbot Frankenbot V1 with 12mm rods. Currently, Printrbot is not stocking the starter kit for this version, but it can easily be made in a reprap style using self-sourced parts. Linear blocks with press fit LM12UU or LM12UU are supported, but extra parts must be printed if press fit bearings are not used. A complete guide to assemble this printer can be found at http://griffinp117.blogspot.com/2016/04/printrbot-starter-kit-v1-build-guide.html If you want a set of these parts printed, please contact me by posting a comment below. The printer uses all the hardware from the original Printrbot Starter Kit V1. It boasts a build area of 10in x 8in x 8.5in (25cm x 20cm x 21.5cm) with full autoleveling. NOTE: This Thingiverse page and the instruction guide are still works in progress. These parts are unlikely to face large changes, aside from adding holes for the X endstop and repositioning small holes. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printer: Frankenbot/G-Rap V1 Rafts: Supports: Resolution: Infill: Notes: These parts do not require supports if printed in the correct orientation. I will update the post with a couple sheets of parts oriented correctly to be printable on a 200mm cubed printer. How I Designed This SolidWorks These parts were designed in SolidWorks 2015-16. I will also have the SolidWorks files for editing available soon.
