A pendulum that can be used to show that the period of oscillation depends on the gravitational acceleration.A 608zz ball bearing is required for mounting.The pendulum is attached to a 10mm tripod rod and initially deflected in a vertical direction. If the plane of oscillation is now varied by rotating the entire arrangement by a certain angle, the period of oscillation increases due to the lower restoring force.The protractor has a scale with angles and a scale with the gravitational acceleration.
