The GI Joe Snowmobile of My Youth. Mine never saw much action except during winter's chill, when I'd take it out and play in the snow outside. Printing is a straightforward process; the chassis comes with supports, while skis are printed without any. The skis should slide smoothly and turn just like they did on my toy. This model was created using my original GI Joe Snowmobile as reference, along with a pair of 6-inch calipers to ensure accuracy. Although the file is designed to be full-scale, I optimized it for printing at 25% scale. Printing outside this range may result in either too much or too little detail. My deepest respect and gratitude go out to the men and women of our Armed Forces – past and present. Their sacrifices allow people like me to live in peace and freedom. It's truly they who are "the real American heroes". This file is available for free download, marked as "non-commercial". Neither you nor I can buy or sell physical copies of this 3D model.
