I fabricated custom brake gear components using my 3D printer specifically designed to complement a newly assembled I.P. Engineering 4-plank wagon kit. The left and right-hand brake hangers, along with one brake lever, were created to accurately replicate the brake system of this vintage locomotive model. Although I opted for a hand lever on each side in my rendition, in real-world applications, it would have been positioned on only one side of the wagon. To enhance the visual appeal of my model, I designed and printed these plastic components below the floor line of the wagon to add depth and realism. These custom parts accommodate wheel centers measuring 75mm and are spaced 23mm from the bottom of the wagon's floor. A small piece of 1/16" diameter brazing rod was utilized for the cross shaft.
