G&G TR16 556WH Blank-Firing-Adapter aka Barrel Sock

Old Project of mine. That part is specificly made for G&G´s TR16 556 WH rifles and needs a threaded insert and a partial threaded rod to be inserted into the muzzleflasher of that specific airsoft rifle. I might create a drawing of both metal parts if I do have time or if someone requests me to create one sooner or later. (lathe or skills required!) Its a long rod with a short M8 thread towards the one end followed by a hole for the ring. The other end needs to be slightly larger than the thread, so it can´t fall out of the device.I did add shrink tube to the larger end to make it larger than the thread and to prevent scratching on the airsoft it self. The whole purpose of this device is to have a more realistic "safe-zone device" to block the muzzle at a field that requires barrelsocks. I still walk to the game orga and let them know what this device is made of and that it has a metalrod inside the actual barrel. This way its more secure compared with fabric barrelsocks. last weekend I ended up forgetting about the thing on the tip of the barrel.. not a single crumb of bb exited the gun when I did some test shots
