G-Clamp fully printable
thingiverse
Small clamp is fully printable without support requirements. A larger frame and screw are also provided, adding another centimeter to the overall design. The protector can be reused for the larger clamp model. The screw has enough space to fit into the frame screw hole without any issues. If you still encounter problems, I'm here to help with an additional version. The best way to mount the protector is to use the clamp itself by closing it until the screw ball and protector ball joint clicks together, or simply use your thumb. For my purposes, I only used 25% infill (about three hours of print time) since I needed something to hold things in place while the glue was drying. If you require more force, a 100% infill is recommended, keeping in mind that it's not made of steel. Enjoy!
