I'm modifying the Walkera G-2D Gimbal by removing its cushion balls, allowing it to attach directly to my Phantom. I haven't encountered issues with the "jello" effect, nor have I noticed a decrease in ground clearance, common problems with gimbals. To assemble this modification, replace the gimbal's mounting plate and secure it using all the original screws provided. I'd be open to feedback and potential improvements if others can propose better ideas for modifying this design.
