g-213 insulator parts for making mold.

These components are specifically designed for creating molds used to repair damaged ceramic insulators within the ballast resistor of an outdated welder-generator. Three files are available, with "try 3" representing my insulator design that can be utilized to manufacture a silicone mold. It's essential not to use this U-shaped part as an insulator since it may melt and lack sufficient dielectric rating; instead, use it solely for creating a mold. The remaining two files represent my mold designs. I used PLA and melted the molds off the insulators to maintain geometry and avoid any design flaws. For the molds, I employed a castable ceramic from McMaster-Carr, choosing the shock-proof variety. To minimize waste and mess after melting off the molds, I recommend using minimal infill. Use these components at your own risk. Adhere strictly to the instructions provided with the ceramic resin. When filling molds, vibrate the ceramic to remove air bubbles. These parts should be fired in a kiln or similar equipment. I strongly recommend conducting destructive testing on all manufactured components. Keyword: AAW2628
