fysetc prusa mini clone hot end fix(helps prevent clogs)
thingiverse
to ensure i dont have clogs, i made a custom spacer which is like the famous "luke hatfield hot end fix" primarily for creality machines. this is for my fysetc prusa mini clones. im not sure if it will work on all cloned hot ends, but it is a quick print (about 5 mins) so if you think this will work for another brand, it is worth a shot! =] picture step by step install (requires the hot end assembly to be removed from the printer): https://imgur.com/gallery/kQBc2N2 1. remove all parts of the hot end (coupler, nozzle, heat block, but LEAVE the heatbreak) 2. insert the spacer with the chamfer down 3. screw the bowden coupler in all the way 4. unscrew the bowden couple 1/4 of a turn (90 degrees) 5. insert a piece of bowden tube all the way until it hits the spacer 6. cut the bowden tube flush with the heatbreak 7. screw the heat block on, it should be about 2-2.5mm from the black heatsink, you want it to be inline with the heatsink and have the smaller hole(for the thermistor) facing the away from the round end of the heatsink. 8. screw the nozzle all the way in nice and tight. 9. tighten the bowden coupler 11. (NOT PICTURED) when reinstalled on the machine, heat the nozzle up to 240 degrees and make sure the nozzle is tightly screwed in. as a note my bowden tube length was about 36.2mm but yours might be slightly different, so DON'T JUST USE MY MEASUREMENT. please follow the instructions, otherwise this will not be effective in preventing clogs.
