FX Box Guitar Pedal Enclosure
thingiverse
This is the FX Box, a 3D-printed guitar pedal enclosure I designed specifically for use with my Switchboard Pedal IO PCB and various effects boards based around the matching PCB template. If you simply want to print a plain box, print fxbox-plain.stl and lid-base.stl. To create a box with custom design or hole placement, start by designing your layout in Inkscape based on the fxbox-plain.svg file. Next, export it as DXF using the Inkscape OpenSCAD DXF Exporter. Then, use the fxbox.scad script to generate the STLs for printing. This script will create an STL file for the first layer and rest for both the box and the lid. Print the first layer with one kind of filament, then print the rest directly on top without supports, ensuring a 0.2mm layer height. The knobs are designed for 6mm shafts and can be printed and customized in the same way using the knob.svg file and knob.scad script.
With this file you will be able to print FX Box Guitar Pedal Enclosure with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on FX Box Guitar Pedal Enclosure.
