FX-61 camera hole cover
thingiverse
This thing fits over the stock camera hole on my Zeta FX-61 Phantom. Nobody uses this mount location as far as I know, and it just creates extra drag and tends to snag terrain when landing. It really needs to be a bit wider and more work is needed to get it to fit better. Still, it works fine as is - you can tape or glue it on. If you choose to glue it on, some light balsa filler can be used to smooth it in if desired. I'll be working on a better-fitting piece soon. ***Update: 01/14/2017 - I worked on getting it to fit better and the updated file is now posted. It fits better but not perfectly yet. ***Update: 11/19/2017 - I split the cover into two pieces. Just mirror the other side in your slicer, then glue the pieces together afterwards. It prints much prettier this way now. The file with "split" is the new version. Print Settings: Printer: Malyan M150 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 10% Notes: I couldn't seem to get the part to lay flat in Tinkercad, so supports are needed for this file. Post-Printing: Needs some sanding and removal of the supports. How I Designed This
