FVD-16A grabhole clamp

FVD-16A grabhole clamp

thingiverse

A support for the Rapido Technology FVD-16A single focus solution. The idea behind the clamp: On some anamorphic lenses, it's tough to mount a single focus solution directly. You might not be able to attach a front ring, or it's just too big to use one effectively. As the inner 75mm threads remain untouched, you can bring most scopes as close to the single focus as possible, leaving minimal room for vignette. It's also super handy when you want to test many different anamorphots without re-mounting it every time. INSTRUCTIONS The three holes around the ring are meant for countersunk head screws in M3. Screw directly into the threads of the FVD-16A. Just rotate the FVD how you like, and line up your markings! The rail needs a 15mm rod clamp with a 38.2mm width. Make sure yours is right; if not, get a fitting one. The length is just enough to work in ARRIs standard LWS system, at 85mm height. As the outer wall isn't super thick, make sure to use sufficient wall strength as well as proper infill. I used 40% PETG or PLA (I went with PLA, though).
