Futuristic Profile Type Desk/Table and Chair

I have started this design on Tuesday. I was just thinking, what if i just made a desk and a chair totally from a profile. I made a fast brainstorm and this was the result. As product senario, i thought that this product could be used on either side, so i didn't add any closed surfaces. I have given enough space in the openings to store books, papers etc. I also thought that this desk could also be used by two people. So this is basically, can either be used as a desk for one, a working table for two(such as in libraries) or it can even be a dinner table if you're creative enough :) I used another desk for dimension reference, same for the chair, so the dimensions should be realistic for people to use.
