Futuristic Gothic Arch Window
myminifactory
Gothic arch window section for futuristic wargaming. Part of a modular set, this starter kit includes a floor tile, an external window section and an internal window section. Makes a great ruin for popular space and futuristic wargaming systems. Designed for FDM printers, these models should be printed flat face down - not stading upright. This design decision has been made to make the parts easier and quicker to print, with very fine detail in places you can't get with upright printing. You can print these models at quite a high layer height (around 0.2 or 0.24) with a 0.4 or 0.6mm nozzle - whilst still maintaining accurate details. Lower layer heights are recommended when you want finer detail, but a larger layer height will allow you print these fairly quick. The wall sections are keyed on the top and the side, to aid the building process. They don't clip together, but the modular building system should make it simpler to glue together in a variety of positions, rather than glueing completely flat faces. Because of this, elephants feet can be a slight issue - so if your prints are slighly larger on the initial layer, either use compensation in your slicer or give it a quick sand before assembly. More sections are on the way, I have a total of 45 variants for the external section, internal section, floor tile, and various buttresses - but feel free to use this small kit to test and try out, to see if it works for you. Happy to listen to feedback and give support if you're having trouble.
