Hi, this is my first project I'm sharing on thingiverse. This design is created to prevent contact with potentially contaminated surfaces like handles and buttons. V.00 It's an experimental version, just to see if it fits comfortably in the hand. V.01 I've improved its functionality by adding a beer opener and letter clip. V.02 This one is similar to V.01 but features a ring for a carabiner and a spring-loaded claw. To build a functional claw, you'll need a 1:10 Tamiya RC TT-01 car spring. The optimal length between the two holes to fit the spring is 52mm. Important Note: The claw isn't very effective at picking up items, so if you need a door opener, it's better to print the base from the latest version instead. You might still need to file some parts to get them to fit perfectly. The "part" component has been designed with some flexibility in mind to accommodate the opening mechanism, so the dimensions in the SolidWorks model won't be entirely accurate.
