This Liverpool model was created by members of FACT Digital Ambassadors group, inspired by Future Aleppo showcased at FACT. The team mapped out the city's psycho-geography using handmade maps, models, and stories, then digitally captured them. They crafted paper models, just like Mohammed, took photos, used photogrammetry and 3D software to rebuild them as a virtual landscape. About Future Aleppo: Fifteen-year-old Mohammed Kteish designed and built a 3D model city in his garage before fleeing the Syrian civil war with his family. The VR film brings his model to life, guiding visitors through the streets of his hometown as they discover stories hidden within a young boy's imaginative recreation of his home.
