Futaba Receiver R6209SB holder
thingiverse
Support from the surface only, orient the stopper tab as the bottom for minimum support. After multiple iterations of the holder, I finally settled on this one. In a nutshell, I need a way to move the rx between planes without worrying about securing it anymore. Futaba RCs are expensive, and FASST can be bound to any model repeatedly. The holder will be secured using zipties and foam beneath. Secure the rx using a 20mm, 3mm or 1/8 bolt. For inch-sized models, you may need to enlarge the nut hole. You still need to plug in and out the servo cable, though - I haven't found a good way to unplug everything at once. You can also use an sbus to pwm encoder for our general sport plane uses, but it may not be too critical. However, we are introducing one more part that can fail, something I'm reluctant to do, and I don't even use a switch now.
