Futaba 16SZ - TBS Crossfire Lite Module Mount
thingiverse
This mounts a TBS Crossfire module to a Futaba 16SZ. This was designed around the Lite but I think the Full is the same dimensions. Note that the mount is meant to be printed in PLA while the case is meant to be printed in TPU. Note also the recommended resolutions in the pics. My printer needed to print the PLA mount in 0.1 resolution to capture the ridges which serve to provide additionally security for the mount. I was able to print the TPU case in 0.2 resolution and still get it to print the opposing ridges on the interlocking block which secures the case to the mount. I used 3M double sided tape to secure the PLA mount to the radio as shown in the pics. The PLA mount was designed to contour the back of the 16SZ specifically. The module is held in place with friction but the TPU is measured just smaller enough than the perimeter of the module to provide ample security. It aint goin' nowhere. Sufficient space was left under the module for however you have the module wired to the 16SZ. At the same time, the SMA connector on the top of the module should not protrude past the main antenna connector so as not to add to the height of the radio for purposes of packing and storage. Enjoy!
