Prosthetic Arm Designed For Trans-Radial Amputees Takes Shape. The Upper Arm Components Remain To Be Completed. Printing Parts At 180% Or Higher Is Recommended, Especially For Adult Users. Finger Joint Pieces Can Be Printed Sideways, But Ensure Connecting Male/Female Sections Face Upwards To Avoid Support Structures. Here Are The Finger Joints: First Finger Joint - Finger 1 (*5) Second Finger Joint - Finger 2 (*4) Third Finger Joint - Finger 3 (*4) First Thumb Joint - Thumb 1 (*1) Second Thumb Joint - Thumb 2 (1*) Attach An Elastic String (~6") Through Each Finger's Top And Down To The Palm, Securing It Tightly At Both Ends. Then, Thread A Thin, Non-Elastic String (~18") Through The Bottom Holes And Tie It Off At The Fingertip. Apply A Strong Adhesive Like Gorilla Glue Or Rez N Bond To Secure The Upper Arm And Arm Cup Components Together. Tighten The Strings Around The Central Nub With Slight Tension, Ensuring Even Tension Across All Strings. When You Pull On The Plain Strings, The Hand Should Close. Note: I No Longer Thread Regular String Through The Thumb, Instead Using Elastic For Better Results.
