Fusion 360 nut and bolt guide
prusaprinters

This is a test templet for Fusion 360 and your 3D printer. When making objects with Fusion it is important to know if the nuts and bolts will fit.
I printed this with both my MK2.5S with a 0.6 nozzle, and my MK3S with the Hemera upgrade (Bearmera), and the nuts-and-bolts fit perfectly. Your results may vary, and this is something you need to know. Also, this gives some idea as to how much clearance to allow.
The measurements are all for metric nuts and bolts M3 -M6. The holes are for exact fit bolt shafts and 0.4, 0.6 clearance. The next set of holes is for hex nuts and the final hole is for the bolt head. The M3 sometimes uses square nuts so I have included an M3 square nut hole.
I have included the Fusion 360 file so you can make variations as needed.
BTW, I did not do a color change for the lettering. I just touched the raised numbers with a felt pen.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

i3 MK2.5

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

200

Infill:

20

Filament:
PolyMaker PETG GRAY

Category: 3D Printing
