This design was entered in the MakeShaper Design Challenge (see all entries here). These sandal soles are specifically designed for 3d printing and should be printed in flexible TPE (preferred) or TPU, with 3 shells and about 20% infill. Shells should be printed from the inside out, and infill can be adjusted to taste, less flexibility resulting from more infill. After printing the flipflop soles, the upper can be constructed using rope, climbing rope working especially well. Adding a leather upper and outsole is also an option. The STL model is sized for EU 42.5, or a foot of 275mm long.
