Fursuit- or puppet-head base - version8
thingiverse
This head base design is suitable for creating puppets, plushies, robots, or even fursuits; fake fur can be attached with glue. The lower jaw was omitted since an aluminium-profile version can be made faster during printing. Enlarged eye holes accommodate the eye and eyelid mechanism from this Thingiverse link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:198945. Print the puppet-sized head in PLA without support material, taking approximately 8 hours and 23 minutes on a Makerbot 1 Dual; print the nose with raft and support. Attach parts using Plaast adhesive (available at http://www.plaast.de/). An aluminium-profile jaw is faster to create and covers with Wonderflex. The ears are made from felt, as demonstrated in this YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXUzgVE4PJQ.
