Fursuit- or puppet-head base - version 33 - horse
thingiverse
This is a versatile base that can be used to craft a wide range of heads, from puppets and plushies to robots and fursuits. The design incorporates strategically placed ventilation holes that serve two purposes: they provide airflow and offer a convenient attachment point for fur. A distinctive feature of this head is its movable lower jaw. The model's dimensions have been carefully calibrated to accommodate costume-sized creations, with the design optimized for small heads - a size that suits my own cranium. To ensure an accurate fit on larger heads, users can easily scale up the design as needed. Collaborative efforts played a significant role in bringing this horse head to life. Angel, a talented artist from BloodyAngelCreations (https://www.facebook.com/BloodyAngelCreations/), brought her expertise in Sculptris to the table, crafting the front section of the head with precision and flair. I then added the finishing touches, including eyebrows, eye holes, and the removal of unnecessary components such as the back of the head. Finally, I constructed a functional lower jaw and made sure the design was 3D-printable for easy production.
