Fursuit- or puppet-head base - version 28.2 - Wau
prusaprinters

This is a head base that can be used to build a puppet-, plushie-, robot- or even a fursuit head. Fake fur can be glued on. I did add some ventilation holes, that can also be used to attach fur. If you want to make the fur removable sew-on-snaps fit in those holes.

The model has the basic shape of the older version of this head base (https://www.printables.com/model/95875-fursuit-or-puppet-head-base-version-28-wau) - it's not a remix, I made a new model.

Models for the ears are included. Having rigid ears on a costume is not a good idea - if you want to use them print those models with flexible filament (TPU).

The design is loosely based on the Wau species from the anime series Tenchi Muyo GXP. I used Erma as a reference.

The model is scaled for costume size and it fits my head - rescale it for your head size before you print it.

How to adjust the size of the models before 3d-printing:

<oembed url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXja6BwnnmQ"></oembed>

How to make the pegs for the lower jaw:

<oembed url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHjathIQ86I"></oembed>

How to make a 3d-printed costume head wearable:

<oembed url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7opMbHnVvQI"></oembed>
