This is a just piece to keep the upper and lower jaw lined up. Most of my heads work better with one of these installed. They can also be helpful for articulated jaws on cut/fold EVA foam heads. For foam heads, it also prevents elastic or cord from cutting into the head as much over time. I've been printing these at 36% (50mm). Depending on your build anything from 30-40% might suit your needs. They don't take long to print, so it's worth it to print a few sizes and see what fits best. I do not care if you re-model this or improve/iterate on it in any way. It's a very simple piece that required very little skill or effort on my part to produce.
