Furry Hexmas Tree (single and dual extrusion)

Furry Hexmas Tree (single and dual extrusion)

Merry Christmas! I printed two trees without supports, using minimal infill - 5% to be exact. Both versions are included: single and dual extrusion. I tested the print at different speeds, printing one tree at 0.2mm and the green one at 0.3mm. The purple tree probably printed better at 0.2mm, but both came out perfectly fine. I used two shells for the green tree and three shells for the purple one, which resulted in fewer casualties on the branches when removing the cone. I explored various ways to create a hairy tree, but most of my attempts at adding intricate details ended in painful prints. This design is surprisingly easy to print quickly, making it a great option for beginners. The tree stands at just under 15cm tall, and with the star on top, it reaches even higher. The star itself might be a bit oversized, but I'm not complaining. Removing the outer cone is a breeze - simply use a kitchen knife to cut around the inside, submerge it in hot water for a minute, and then shape it to your liking. A hair dryer also works well, although it can be a bit aggressive at times.
