I carefully crafted this lightsaber with electronics and dueling in mind, specifying that the blade casing should have a precise diameter of 32mm. To power it, I chose an A23 12V battery, and for the clearence button, a generic pushbutton with a 6.8mm diameter worked perfectly. The LEDs are secured by a sturdy 1/2'' dowel rod that also provides structural support to the blade. I recommend using some type of tape on the grip; I personally used black electrical tape. You'll need to print 10 lower grip inserts in addition to these specifications. The blade end cap is designed specifically for use with a 32mm diameter casing and a 1/2'' wooden dowel rod.
