The distance from the edge of the door to the edge of the hole can be easily adjusted. This versatile device is very useful when you need to replace or reposition one hinge on a furniture door, especially when different furniture sets have varying hole locations. To secure the adapter, use the same screws that hold the original hinge in place. Assembling the adapter requires only four 10-12mm long flat-headed screws. The kit is specifically designed for use with the Forstner 35mm drill bit. The device allows for a drilling depth of 10mm, which can be achieved by installing a spacer without any gaps on the drill shank to prevent it from wobbling along the drill shank.
