Furniture-friendly feet for T-Trak modules
thingiverse
T-Trak modules are effortlessly set up on any table, yet most modules feature a conspicuous 1/4" bolt as their sole support. This design choice is unlikely to earn you friends when placing a module on your friend's refined mahogany dining room table. I've opted for commercially available felt-covered furniture feet in the past, but they're relatively pricey and have limited adjustability. To address this issue, I designed some easily printed feet that can be attached to finish your module legs. These feet are suitable for both hex and carriage bolts and press onto the bolt head securely. A dab of acrylic caulk is all it takes to glue them in place. The published size has worked fine for me so far, but you may need to make slight adjustments to suit your specific needs. Once the feet are attached to the bolt, applying a self-adhesive felt pad to the end completes the transformation. The result is feet for your modules that are not only functional but also respectful of fine furniture.
